Marcela Jabes | Director and Co-writer
Marcela Jabes is an actress, film student at Arte 7, director and editor of audiovisual content and social entrepreneur. He began in professional theater at the age of 7 in Fiddler on the Roof directed by Michel Hausmann. He has worked on numerous plays, short films and music videos. His last professional work was The Bridge of San Louis Rey directed by David Greenspan (winner of several Obies Awards) at Miami New Drama.
In film he began acting with the short film Soledad, which was awarded at the Sousse International Film Festival for Children and Youth (Tunisia) as Best Short Film for Children. In 2020 she began studying film at Arte 7. She is the director of the short film “Dos Nostalgias y un Acorde” which is on the streaming platform
Filminlatino, official selection of the Mérida feminist festival. Marcela was also an acting coach in the Venezuelan film Jezebel. Abril Villegas I Co-screenwriter/Producer
Abril Aitana Villegas Toledo is a director, actress, and audiovisual producer born in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico. She began her career in the arts by taking certified theater courses at the Tlaxcalteca Institute of Culture from 2012 to 2015, presenting various youth stage productions such as "Seussical" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream." From 2018 to 2020, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and later to Kansas City, Missouri, USA, to complete English language studies. In February 2021, she began formal film studies at Arte 7 Campus Ciudad de México.
In the field of audiovisual direction, Abril stands out for directing two digital series. One is "Testimonios" for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2020, and the other is "Let's Make it Real" for New York influencer Daniel Tuttle, available worldwide since February 2023. In film direction, Abril directed her first short film, "Reverso," in 2021, which premiered on the FilminLatino platform. This was followed by her second short film, "MI ESPACIO," in 2022, also premiered on FilminLatino and screened in various Mexican states, including Nayarit, Sinaloa, the Cineteca de Zacatecas, and her home state of Tlaxcala, as part of several state film showcases, including the recent "Graciela Orozco" Women Filmmakers Showcase 2023.
In 2022, Abril directed her first documentary short film, "Donde Lloran Pescados," currently in post-production and a recipient of the PECDA 2023 grant. She directed three short films and co-directed a documentary as part of the XXI international meeting in Italy, "Cinemadamare," with titles such as "Un momento" projected in Villanova Monteleone, "Dos pájaros volando" projected in Milan, and "Arranca Alas" projected in Tempio Pausania. From this encounter, Abril received the recognition for "Best Producer" in week 12, in the city of Sète, France.

In 2022, Abril worked on various commercial audiovisual projects for brands such as Lonol, ThaiSpa, and Universal Music. She was also part of the short film that won the PROCINE 2022 stimulus, directed by Kevin Barriga and produced by Zulema Olivas.
Abril was part of the production team for the play "Juegos de niñas" by playwright Mario Sudano, directed by Jesus Delgado, produced by Andreina Mesa and Brenda Moreno, in its first season, which celebrated three performances at the "Un teatro" forum in November 2022. Alejandro Castro | Sound Designer
Alejandro Castro is an audiovisual creator, announcer, and filmmaker, specializing in the sound department. His journey in audiovisual projects began in 2014 with the short film "Un camino a la lectura," winning first place in a reading promotion contest. In 2016, he started working as a production assistant at Ajusco Recording Studio, where various video clip recordings, foley work, and voiceovers for diverse projects were produced. Notably, "Oscura Fragancia," a horror short film, was part of the official selection at festivals such as Feratum 2017, Fake Flesh Film Fest 2017, among others.
In 2019, Alejandro worked as a boom operator on the short film "Agua Colorada" for the Mexico City Independent Film Festival. He participated as a live announcer on the program "Ideas Frescas" on 102.5 after taking a voiceover workshop at MVS in October and November of that year. In 2020, he completed a free filmmaking course at CENART and began studying film at Arte 7 in August 2020, further specializing in sound and exploring other departments.
In 2021, he directed his first documentary short film, "Diga si van pronto a salir si no, para seguir." He also served as the director of photography for the short film "No corro, no grito, no empujo" and as Production Manager from pre-production for the short film "Métele Clutch," which won the PROCINE stimulus in 2022 and was presented at various film festivals.

He also served as a sound designer on the horror short film "Tlahuelpuchi," part of the official selection at FICCMA2023. Currently, she is involved in the pre-production of "Para que no se te olvide," where she will serve as the first assistant director. She expresses her enthusiasm for the film: "This movie excites me a lot because I connect with the story. It speaks, among many things, about the complexities of mother-daughter relationships and how challenging it is to grow up without losing a part of yourself. I believe that, like me, those who see our project will encounter lost reflections and connect with a childhood within themselves."

Dante Rendón began his studies in Animation and Digital Art at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). Simultaneously, he served as an editor and creator of audiovisual content for ITESM's social media platforms.
Later, he joined Arte7 Film School, where he embarked on his cinematic studies, focusing on cinematography. Dante has worked as a director of photography and editor for several short films, including "Aquí Vivo" by Ximena Gaona, "Al Final" by Sabina Nares, and "¿Dónde Está Mamá?" by Marcela Zahar. These films have been showcased on Filmin Latino. He also directed the photography for the short film "Atardeceres" by director and producer Diego Saucedo Alarcón, premiered at the Mañana Film Fest.
In 2022, Dante attended the cinematography workshop "Aprender a Ver" by cinematographer Sandra de Silva de la Torre. Mauro Bengoechea | Marketing and Production Assistant
Mauro Emiliano Heredia Bengoechea is a film student at Arte7, where he has served as an art director for the short film "Reverso" in 2021, directed by Abril Villegas.
